This project originated from the need to organize and book shared family cars, allowing everyone to easily see when a vehicle is needed.
The first version was developed in an evening using Lovable through “vibe coding”. The result is a simple web application used daily to coordinate vehicle availability.
A web app was chosen for rapid prototyping and compatibility with Android and iPhone devices.
This short project was a success: it effectively solved our family’s recurring issue of cars being unknowingly taken due to unclear schedules.
The next step is to develop a fully featured mobile application for the App Store.
The app icon was a fun addition that tied it all together, inspired by our family's beloved character ZigoZago (aka Lowly Worm) by Richard Scarry.
Through iteration, the icon design was fine tuned to work as a small icon, while still keeping personality and recognizability.
